Project Overview
ART 458: Graphic Design for Branding & Identity | Madison, WI Junior Student September 2025 – December 2025
Design a brand from scratch.
Come up with an idea for a (fictional) business, develop a strategy, create a comprehensive identity system, and then apply it to a variety of real-world applications.
This project will pull together everything we've talked about this semester: competitive analysis, research, brainstorming, moodboarding, typography, color, logo design, identity system, storytelling, touchpoints, and presentation.

Personal Notes
For this Project I decided to create an original printing brand titled SoulPrint, both being the metaphorical Soul that the company promises with their products but also a word play on the word sole.
For this project I took inpiration from various printshops and the aesthetics of an artist shop. I tried to capture the cozyness of an artist shop with a retro aesthetic. I also wanted to make a printing shop that focused on providing services for independent artists. Designed a website, social media ads, packaging, and more.

Mockups
Product Mockups
For this Project, we were tasked to create a variety of different mockups of physical products, website design, social media posts, and more relating to our fictional brand company.
I created a lot of original icons and illustrations to be used in the packgaging and website design that relate to the type of printing service the user would want to receive.
